The National Union of Students, or NUS for short, is the overarching national union for students which the UWA Student Guild affiliates itself to. The NUS consists of a national executive, including national office bearers, similar to the UWA Student Guild, as well as a state branch specific to WA. The NUS has been a hot topic over the past few years – with many not seeing its value. REVIVE is the only team in this election who has a track record of getting something out of the NUS – and we plan to do it again this year.
